WHEN IS THE ELECTION FOR THE 95TH DISTRICT?
That’s a good question! Because the last person elected to represent the district resigned back in January, Missouri’s 95th State House District is currently vacant, meaning the people of the 95th District currently have no representation in the Missouri State House. It’s up to Missouri’s Governor to call a special election to fill vacant seats in the State House. After eight months of leaving the district without any representative, in August of 2025, the Governor finally made a public statement saying he plans to call a special election to fill the vacant seat sometime next year. The date is yet to be confirmed, but according to local news reports it’s likely to be in April of 2026. Whenever the election for the 95th District takes place, Meredith Sumenek is ready to run!
