Our health care system in the United States is not working. No one should have to choose between going to the doctor and buying food for their family. We deserve better!

As a mom, I know how hard it is to take care of my son and still make sure we have enough money to pay our bills. Families should not have to worry like this.

Our community needs a leader who will speak up and work hard to fix these problems.

Here’s what I plan to do:

• I will fight to protect health care for people in Missouri, even when the federal government makes cuts to Veterans Services, Medicare, Medicaid, or the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).

• I believe everyone should be able to see a doctor, a dentist, or a mental health provider. That’s why I will support universal health care for all.

• I will focus on helping people stay healthy before they get really sick. It saves money and helps people live better lives.
